Description
The Apex Centre for Animal Disease Investigation, Monitoring and Surveillance is situated in the main campus of RAJUVAS in the building of the Dept. of Microbiology & Biotechnology. The centre is specefically working to attend and investigate outbreaks of various diseases in the animals in the state of Rajasthan to determine etiology and to recommend appropriate treatment and control measures to save the livestock losses of the State. The Center also collects the epidemiological data from various sources and prepares maps of prevalent diseases and also conducts training programmes to field veterinarians and animal owners to acquaint them with livestock disease management techniques.
