Description
This centre is proposed with mandate to access and develop feed resources availability for animal and their optimum utilization in ruminant and non ruminant animals by use of various feed technologies applied outside as well as inside animals systems. Preparation and supply of balanced feed with assured quality and desired proportion of feed ingredients for various types of animals like: cattle & buffalo, sheep & goat, pig & laboratory animals, etc. The main object of this centre is to take up work on improvement of feed resources availability for animals either by identification and exploring new feed resources or by improving efficiency of utilization of feed resources using feed technologies inside as well as outside animal system so as to improve overall production as well as benefit small, medium and large scale farmers for their livelihood.
